This group photo was taken at "Tauhara Retreat Centre" in Taupo, New Zealand.Members of Self Realization Fellowship from throughout the North Island gather here in the Spring each year at the Centre which is located on the hill above Acacia Bay and enjoys expansive views of the Lake and surrounding countryside.

A weekend of spiritual retreat includes meditation,  periods of silence interspersed with devotional chanting, inspirational readings from Paramahansa Yogananda's writings, and  fellowship with other Truth seeking souls. For most of us, wonderfully catered vegetarian meals are an integral part of a successful Retreat too.
